A.M. Wilson is a new author to me and I really like her style. This book is filled with all the good stuff – suspense, twists and turns and keep me on the edge of my seat. It was intense and had a good pace and was told from both His POV and Her POV.
Marlena Aldrich is starting over after getting out of an abusive relationship with Travis. She meets handsome and secretive Elias Brooks who turns out to be her boss’ son. Even though she is working through trust issues and panic attacks, being around Elias calms her. Then Travis finds her and comes to claim her and tells her that Elias cannot be trusted. Will she be able to find out who to believe before it is too late?
This story is one where you don’t really know who the good guy is. You keep second guessing yourself the whole time. There is something about Elias that is never resolved and Travis seems like a complete scumbag, but in a twisted way he seems like he really may be protecting Marlena. To find out the truth you will have to read Resurrecting Her.
A note of caution – there is kidnapping, violence and abuse so if those topics bother you, this may not be the right book for you.

This is the first book in the series and it definitely starts it off with a bang. From the very beginning of the book you are pulled into this suspenseful, thrilling storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Told in the multi POV of Marlena and the crazed ramblings of her Ex Travis, you are quickly drawn into this complicated world of secrets, revenge, obsession and survival. A new town, a new job and a new love interest in the mysterious Elias is just what Marlena needs. This was an exciting story with great mysterious characters. The mystery and secrets surrounding the characters left you guessing and questioning what you thought to be the truth. The twists and turns kept your mind churning as you tried to figure out what was real and what was distraction. The story was plotted out to leave just enough doubts in the readers mind to add validity to the ramblings of a crazy man. I have to give the author credit as they did a remarkable job of keeping the reader second guessing and glued to the pages as the storyline unfolded. Having never read this author before, I have to say that I have found another great storyteller to add to my favorites. My only complaint is that with all great stories, the author baited the hook and left me hanging with unanswered questions and a heck of cliffhanger. I eagerly await the next chapter in this riveting tale.

Redesigning Fate is my first glimpse into the mind of A. M. Wilson. Holy Cow! This book is deliciously dark. I blazed through it, eating it up with no interruptions until the very end.
Marlena is a strong character who has been broken down her entire life. She was previously in an abusive relationship with Travis. Things came to a head and Marlena moved on with her life. Starting over, she meets the very sexy Elias. He has a lot of secrets, but Marlena is convinced she is worth the attention and affection Elias bestows upon her. Hesitant at first, Marlena begins to feed off of these long-neglected emotions. But, her dark and dangerous past comes back and threatens Marlena’s new life.
This book was a great roller coaster ride. I want to know what the big secret is with Elias and Sin. I have an idea, but I need to read the next book ASAP to see if I am right. The characters were so well written I could picture them perfectly in my mind. I instantly disliked Katie and I wanted to throat punch Travis through the whole book, the creepy bugger.
If you like dark psycological reads, Redesigning Fate is a good book for you.
